JMA Architects is seeking an Architect with 1-3 years of experience.
JMA has been in business since 1954. We are a medium size, professional, design firm licensed in Illinois and Indiana. We specialize in non-residential custom design. Our clients include municipalities, school districts, and religious and financial institutions.

Bachelor of Architecture or Masters Degree in Architecture
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit -- Can show completed examples of Revit projects
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
1-3 years of non-residential experience
Licensed or Working Towards Licensure (IDP)
Below are some general architectural duties included in this position:
Construction documents completion
Specifications writing and materials research
Construction phase observation – Office/Field
Aside from the above qualifications and architectural duties, the ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be an excellent problem solver, have the ability to multitask, and be an effective manager.
