This is a professional position in the Professional Development and Resources department. The primary function of this position is to manage the day-to-day operation of AIAU including technical, program, and financial aspects. The Manager will work with the Director, Member Education Services, to develop strategic and operational plans for the AIAU platform including technology enhancements, content, and revenue.
Ensure the technical operation of the AIAU platform including resolving user access issues, maintaining and updating platform technical capabilities, and ensuring platform availability.
Working with the Director, Member Education Services, develop a technical roadmap for platform capabilities and enhancements as well as regular maintenance and performance monitoring.
Manage and coordinate AIAU program content to ensure quality and relevant courses content.
Develop course curriculum programs for AIAU content.
Working with the Manager, Instructional Design, design, develop, and deliver AIAU course content and programs.
Provide regular reporting and support for AIAU revenue generation including tracking revenue and expenses.
Work with AIA Brand Engagement to promote and sell AIAU course content and programs.
Provide customer service to AIAU customer and others concerning general inquiries in regard to AIAU programs and projects
Assists with special projects and other related duties, as assigned, or as necessary.

Well-developed conceptual, analytical and research skills including the ability to identify innovative solutions to solving problems. Ability to evaluate educational products/projects and services, including distance education. Understanding of adult learning theory concepts with the ability to utilize these principles effectively in the learning environment. Experience managing online training programs and platforms including technical, content, and finances. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Skill in writing/editing and public speaking. Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and handle quickly shifting priorities with ease. Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and HTML.
Degree in Education with concentration in Adult/Continuing Education, Curriculum Development, or Instructional Systems Design is required with a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in education. Masters degree preferred. Experience with Moodle, Captivate, and Adobe Connect strongly desired.
